Thousands were left homeless and countless lives have perished by the onslaught of typhoon Quiel after typhoon Pedring (Nesat & Nalgae) in Manila and Northern Luzon just a few days ago, what more.... another storm (Ramon) is brewing and possibly affecting more people once more

We have seen the suffering on countless pictures on newspapers and television while we sat in our comfort as we reach out for our favourite munchies. Pity and sorrow are not enough to ease the pain of the victims of the calamity. This Thanksgiving, it is the time once again to share our blessings and act and mobilize ourselves to help our Kababayan in need!

Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation or PCCF are appealing to everyone to help in whatever means you can to help ease the suffering victims in the Philippines. Let us join hands together for "Tulong Tulong 2011"

1. Donate non-perishable food items like canned goods - (protein-rich e.g. corned beef, luncheon meat, sausage), powdered milk, vegetables, noodles and peanut butter.

 2. Please send donations of any amount to help the rehabilitation of the victims who were affected by the flood.

3. If you want your donations to be allocated to build a house for a typhoon victim family, please state your complete address and telephone number and a Charitable receipt will be issued. A house costs $3000 .. any donation to this fund over $20 will receive a charitable receipt . If you or your organization donates for the full cost of one house, we will ensure that your name will be duly recognized in the entrance of the PCCF village that will be built. Mail your cheques payable to PCCF re: ANCOP to : 31 Heatherbank Trail, Toronto, Ontario M1B 5M6.

All goods and proceeds will be channelled through the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines or the Kapuso Foundation. All monetary donations will be duly acknowledged in the PCCF Website www.philippinecanadianfoundation.com

We are blessed that we have the capacity to help even in our own little ways so let us share what we have ... may it be time, money, energy, talents, resources...
