Sen. Tobias Enverga, Jr. introduced Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander to the participants of a media teleconference this afternoon on the immigration measures in support of the government's response to Typhoon Haiyan.

Minister Alexander urged those who are currently in Canada whose work permits are expiring soon to come forward, so that the the government may extend their work permits, "so that they don't have to go back to the Philippines soon."
