Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc.

JANUARY, 2020 - CAINTA, PHILIPPINES - During its annual mission to the Philippines, the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) and the titleholders of the 2019 Pageants With a Cause travelled to Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc. Located in Cainta, Philippines, Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc. has been providing services to persons with disabilities (PWDs) for the last 45 years. Through this organization, PWDs are given access to services and programs that focus on the improvement of the quality of life of PWDs educational assistance, mobility aid assistance and livelihood. Led by PCCF's Rosemer Enverga, Rosemarie & Neph Ramos, Noemi & Primo Milanes and the 2020 Pageant entourage: Rena Sumatra -Miss Philippines Canada, Hailey Suan Daryanani-Miss Teen Philippines Canada, Sophia Daclan-Little Miss Philippines Canada. were warmly welcomed and were treated to live performances. The PCCF entourage handed out goodie bags consisting of hygienic items, canned foods and more.

The PCCF entourage handed out goodie bags consisting of hygienic items, canned foods and more.
January 22nd - Tahanan Walang Hagdanan, which translates to House With No Steps was founded in 1973. The facility acts as a training and rehabilitation centre for persons with disabilities. This is the 3rd year PCCF has visited the centre to donate bags of canned goods, toiletries and personal hygiene items. The PCCF contingent which included PCCF officers: Romy & Rebecca Rafael, Rosemer Enverga, Lita Leano and Neph & Rosemarie Ramos. And the pageant winners Miss Philippines Canada 2017 Resham Saeed, Miss Teen Philippines Canada 2017 Jenna Ramos, Little Miss Philippines Canada 2017 Marianne Barcarse and Mrs Philippines Canada Laila Elcano had the chance to take a tour of the facilities and meet the recipients. It was truly an experience of a lifetime!
Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc. (House with No Steps) is a rehabilitation and skill training centre that creates opportunities for persons with disability. Tahanang Walang Hagdanan Inc is one of the recipients of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation's generosity. A PCCF delegation lead by PCCF EVP Rosemer Enverga accompanied by Miss Philippines Canada 2016 - Krista Bella, Mrs Philippines Canada 2016 - Amelia Arcillo and runner ups, Len Salvador and Loida Cox visited the Cainta location. They gave away bags of personal hygiene materials and canned goods to benefit the residents, workers and their families. 
Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc. (House with No Steps) a rehabilitation and skills training centre is one of the recipients of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation's (PCCF) generosity. PCCF recently visited the Cainta location and gave away bags of personal hygiene materials and boxes of canned goods to benefit the residents, workers and their families who has disabilities. Leading the delegation to help the residents were Rosemer Enverga, PCCF EVP, she is with Miss Philippines Canada 2015 - Nathalie Ramos and Miss Teen Philippines Canada 2015 - Ansha Hipolito.
PCCF aims to help Tahanang Walang Hagdanan in their quest to uplift the lives of the orthopedically handicapped persons. Tahanang walang Hagdanan provides livelihoods and education to about 300. AT TWH, PWDs manufacture wheelchairs, educational toys, bags and other novelty items, and assemble packaging items for pharmaceutical companies.
