Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF)​ hosts another SPECTACULAR Pinoy Fiesta & Trade Show Toronto​ in celebration of Canada 150 Kudos to the officers and supporters of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation, they have once again organized another very successful Pinoy Fiesta and Trade Show, hence keeping its claim as one of the biggest Annual Filipino community event in North America. Romy Rafael, president of PCCF stated that Pinoy Fiesta 2017, was one of the biggest Pinoy Fiesta ever in terms of attendance. This year’s event was even more special as we celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday! Crowds continued to stream in from morning until the program in the evening. It was a total fiesta feeling and a sight to behold as soon as you entered the footsteps of the event. Very prominent, to induce the feeling of a Philippine Fiesta were the banderitas that decked the ceiling of the Metro Convention Centre and the huge Philippine flag that adorned the hall visibly seen by incoming crowds. Philippine Heritage Band and Culture Philippines of Ontario added to the sounds and cultural flavour of the whole day. Philippine delicacies were served in the food court to the delight of everyone wanting to satisfy their taste buds. Dozens of vendors and exhibitors were on hand too for everyone's shopping pleasure. The Kids Zone was an added bonus for the little ones. What is a Fiesta without the display of Filipina beauties in their native terno while walking with the Santacruzan procession? More beautiful Filipinas were featured in the pageantries in the Pageants with a Cause. Notable among the 2017 winners were Miss Philippine Canada Resham Ramirez Saeed, Miss Teen Philippines Canada Jenna Ramos, Mrs. Philippines Canada Laila Elcano, Little miss Philippines Canada Marianne Barcarse and Little Mr Philippines Aidan Rodricks. Pinoy Fiesta is indeed the biggest Filipino Canadian Beauty pageant in Canada. The hall erupted with excitement when the GMA Pinoy TV ultimate star Jennylyn Mercado, Boobay and up-and-coming artist Shanaia Gomes entertained the crowds with their performances. Rosemer Enverga, PCCF EVP described the whole day-whole evening festivities as very rewarding. She stated that "all our hard work and sacrifices were blessed by the support of the community, WE ALL HAD FUN AND WILL HELP AT THE SAME TIME! "
