Rosemer Enverga awarded as one of the 100 Most Influential Pinay
Enverga was selected from a huge list of nominees from all over the world, the Global100 awardees was officially announced during a Gala Awards Ceremony and Celebration at the 10th Filipina Leadership Summit held on October 24-26, 2013 at the Mark Hopkins InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco, California. Some of the distinguished awardees were Loida Nicolas Lewis, Chair, Reginald F. Lewis Foundation ; Dr. Tess Mauricio, GMA TV host; Cora M. Tellez, President & CEO Sterling Health Services; Nina Aguas, COO Philippine Bank of Communications; Jocelyn Ding, VP, Google; Delle Sering-Fojas, CEO of 77soft.
Upon acceptance of the award, Rosemer thanked all her supporters and reiterated that the award is a tribute to the work of all the people who supported her and an honour for all the passionate and dedicated Filipina-Canadian volunteers all over Canada.
Enverga's award was under the Founders and Pioneers Category. This award honored Filipina women in their capacities as the chief executive, president, executive director or founder of a company, community organization, non-profit, or business venture that they helped start, build or significantly grow. This award category is for the trailblazers who have marshaled resources and applied innovative practices, processes and/or technologies in a new and groundbreaking way to address a significant business or organizational opportunity. Enverga was recognized for her passionate and unselfish volunteer work with various organizations and events in Canada. Most recently she was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal by the Governor General of Canada.
