APPEAL TO THE COMMUNITY TO HELP VICTIMS OF TYPHOON YOLANDA

From: Father Ben Ebcas, Pastor OLA and AFCM

"Operation Tulong: For victims of Super Typhoon Yolanda and Major Earthquake in the Philippines"

We are launching a major appeal for help to all Filipinos in Ontario and parishes in the Archdiocese of Toronto.

The cry for help is deafening as our brothers and sisters are still in shock due to the recent major calamities in Central and Eastern Visayas and other parts of the Philippines.

A special prayer for the victims and deceased will be said during the Filipino Mass at 5pm Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013 at the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (OLA) on 2565 Bathurst Street, Toronto. The appeal for monetary help and non perishable food items and clothing will be launched as well.

Nov. 11, Monday, we will start packing goods in the basement of OLA CHURCH. May God bless us all.

Father Ben
