Miss Philippines Canada 2014 Visits the Philippines
CONGRATULATIONS Krisgelle Roc Maramot, Miss Philippines Canada 2014 You made us all proud!
Last June, 2014, Krisgelle won the coveted title of Miss Philippines Canada 2014 at last year's Pinoy Fiesta & Tradeshow sa Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Center (http://bit.ly/1xxZ87n). She was among 11 remarkable candidates who not only personified Filipina beauty, but who joined the pageants for a good cause... to have fun and help the poor!
As winner of Miss Philippines Canada 2014, Krisgelle won a trip to the Philippines to experience the true beauty and culture of the Philippines! While reconnecting with her roots, she visited the houses donated by PCCF and was armly welcomed by its grateful residents. Building houses for the poor and the needy and afflicted by leprosy was a very worthy cause by PCCF.
Krisgelle met with various dignitaries, she was a special guest at a popular GMA PinoyTV show, but one thing she did that she will never forget, one thing that she did that will last more than her lifetime.. she planted a tree! A simple task to help sustain the environment.
It was truly an experience of a lifetime for Krisgelle and her Mom!
PCCF president, Romy Rafael declared, "We can only help if our events like Pinoy Fiesta and the pageantry are successful, we have to work harder, we need everyone's support, we have to be united to be able to help the poorest of the poor, we have to have fun and help at the same time."
