LABOUR DAY PARADE
One of the biggest Labour Day Parades took place last September 4th, 2023 in downtown Toronto. The Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) along with the Pageants entourage were proud to represent the Philippines in the 4kms walk to pay tribute to all the incredibly hard working labourers.
The event marked the unofficial end to summer and the final day of the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE). It was a tiring but fun-filled day. Special thanks to Chris Jones for inviting PCCF to be part of this event!
The PCCF entourage included PCCF President Rosemer Enverga and Virgie Gagne, Pageant Entourage: Julia Duenas-Miss Philippines Canada 2023, Raeschelle Gavina-Little Miss Philippines Canada 2023, Little Miss Philippines Canada runners-ups: Louise and Dyan; Sophie Daclan-Little Miss Philippines Canada 2019. Mrs. Philippines Canada 2023 candidate Florence Salcedo and former reigning Mrs. Philippines Canada winner Elvie Ortiz. Hats off to the families and young siblings who also joined the walk.
