PCCF Attends Proudly Pinoy Scholarship Launch

The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) launched the Proudly Pinoy Scholarship last December 8th, 2023. In partnership with the Consulate, the program aims to support Filipino students who wish to pursue a career in education.

In attendance were Consul General Escalona along with the Deputy Consuls, PCCF's Rosemer Enverga, TCDSB Trustees Garry Tanuan, Angela Kennedy, Nancy Crawford and Director of Education Brendan Browne; Community leaders, members of the Filipino Advisory Committee including Maria Guiao, TCDSB representatives, Filipino Parents and so much more. Performances by various talents treated the crowd including Little Miss Philippines Canada 2023 Raeschelle Gavina and her mother Rhoda from the St. Paschal Baylon Choir.
