Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation Reaffirms 15-Year Commitment to Helping the Poor
Toronto, ON – In an inspiring display of unity and compassion, the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) proudly donated $10,000 to ANCOP Canada during the highly anticipated ANCOP Walk 2025 held last August 16, 2025 at Centennial Park, Toronto. This generous donation marks another milestone in PCCF’s ongoing 15-year partnership with ANCOP, an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of the poor through education, housing, and community development.
Despite the extreme 40°C heat, hundreds of supporters came together to participate in the annual 4km walk, determined to raise awareness and funds to support ANCOP’s life-changing programs. The PCCF delegation, led by PCCF President Rosemer Enverga, Lita & Tony Leano. They were joined by the PCCF Beauties, including Princess Saladino (Miss Philippines Canada 2025), Andrea Penaverde (1st Runner-Up), Krystelle Rivas (Little Miss Philippines Canada 2025), Joyce Lobendino (Miss Philippines Canada Candidate), and Hannah (Little Miss Philippines Canada Sunshine 2024). They were accompanied by their families who also supported this worthy cause.
PCCF's enduring support for ANCOP reflects a shared mission to uplift the lives of the poor, not just in Canada but especially in the Philippines. Over the years, PCCF has contributed to numerous ANCOP projects, including the establishment of the PCCF ANCOP Village in Caloocan City, a haven for 33 families impacted by leprosy. During PCCF’s most recent humanitarian visit to the Philippines, the foundation also funded a scholarship program, enabling promising but underprivileged 10 students to pursue for 4 years their academic dreams.
“Our commitment to ANCOP is rooted in our belief that every individual deserves a chance at a better life,” said President Rosemer Enverga. “Whether it’s building a safe home or funding a child’s education, we are proud to be part of a mission that brings real, lasting change.”
The ANCOP Walk serves not only as a fundraising event but also as a celebration of hope, unity, and the power of giving. PCCF extends its heartfelt thanks to all participants, volunteers, and donors who braved the heat and gave generously to the cause.
Let’s build more houses for the poor!
